How can I become a MotoNovo Dealer?

How do you intend to lead change in the motor finance market?

We have a passion for motor finance and the motor trade, it's all we've known for the last 40 years and our parent, First Rand/Wesbank, want us to take the business to ever higher levels of success. Looking at the way the market works we believe that we should not only deliver excellence in the showroom but also offer something valuable and different to customers every day they own the car. It's why our products offer 'So Much More' than motor finance. Discount Shopping that builds loyalty, putting customers and dealers together through MyCarLocator and keeping in touch through Change Alerts are just some of the things we do to put dealer finance at the forefront of every customers mind. We don't intend to make motor finance a great choice just for the next couple of years but for  decades to come.

How long does it take to get an answer on a proposal?

Proposals via our Nexus system or your own XML will usually take less than 3 minutes. Otherwise we respond within the hour.

Do you have the lowest rates?

We couldn't have become the fastest growing motor finance company for the last 2 years without being competitive, but we offer 'So Much More' than price. Just like the cheapest car isn't often the best, we work with our dealers to add real value and increase income.

Do you underwrite Sub-Prime business?

No. We are a prime company that offers a prime service and proposition.

Are you a brand new business to the UK?

We've been supporting motor dealers in the UK for over 40 years. Until January 2012 we were known as Carlyle Finance and we have been owned by FirstRand since 2006. We wanted to change our name to better reflect our values and vision for the future. The  origins of the MotoNovo's name come from the Latin words 'Moto' meaning moving / driving forward and 'Novo' meaning renew, refresh, change, innovate. Therefore the literal translation of MotoNovo is 'Driving Forward through Innovation and Change'. The new brand was launched in February 2012.

Do you offer dealer funding?

We offer the full suite of dealer funding options including APAK Unit Stocking, Advance Commission and term loans. We are one of the most successful providers of dealer funding in the UK and are always happy to consider new partnerships with quality motor dealers.

What sort of dealers do you deal with?

We support the full range of motor dealers in the UK. This includes some of the biggest groups in the AM Top 100, large car supermarkets, franchise dealers and independent used outlets.
