Before making an online bank payment, banks use a name verification service called Confirmation of Payee (CoP) to make sure the payee details are correct and secure. To direct your funds to the correct MotoNovo agreement, please provide your bank with the following details:
Name (the name on your agreement)
Account number and sort code
For agreements starting with ‘1’: Account number is 01249911 and sort code is 30-00-02
For agreements starting with ‘2’: Account number is 17906860 and sort code is 30-80-12
Please note that if your 8-digit agreement number is not included as the payment reference, it can cause delays allocating your payment. If a third party (e.g. a dealer) is making a payment on your behalf, please make sure they also include the 8-digit agreement number as payment reference.
If you'd prefer to pay by cheque, please make them payable to MotoNovo Finance and include your 8 digit agreement number as a reference. Post your cheque to:

If you’re paying by direct debit, it will take 2 to 3 days. If you’re paying by cheque, it can take up to 7 days for your payment to clear.
If you're paying by bank transfer, it can take up to 2 days for your payment to clear. Please make sure to always include your 8-digit agreement number as the payment reference so we can allocate your payment swiftly.

If you're making your last payment by direct debit, we'll cancel your direct debit once we've taken the last payment.
You can change your payment date by registering or logging into MyMotoNovo online or via the app for iOS and Android. To log in, all you need is your agreement number and personal details.
If your current payment date is within the next 3 days, your new payment date will only change from the following month.
Your direct debit may not have been taken if your payment date falls on a non-working day or bank holiday. If your payment date falls on a weekend or bank holiday, and it’s not the last day of the month, we will usually collect your payment on the next available working day.
For example, if your payment was due on the 25th or 26th December 2025, as these were non-working days, we collected your payment on the next available working day (29th December 2025).
If your payment date is the last day of the month and this falls on a non-working day, we will collect the payment on the last working day of that month. For example, if your usual payment date is the 31st and this falls on a Saturday, your payment will be taken on Friday 30th.
If this doesn’t explain why your Direct Debit hasn’t been taken, please contact us on 0333 200 0030. Our lines are open Monday to Friday, 9am–6pm, excluding bank holidays.
We don't offer payment holidays on our agreements.
